Variegata del Castelfranco –  definitively a She vegetable .

The first chick to be planted in my little urban garden this season is a salad chicory. An Italian first lady, a true prima donna…I wonder how this distinguished guest from the South will like it in my allotment…I will make everything I can to make her feel at home and hopefully she won’t behave like a diva.
